Reigate Fort was built in 1898 as part of the London Defence Scheme and was restored in 2000.  Marc Russell, Area Manager for Reigate Hill and Gatton Park will lead us on a tour of the atmospheric buildings to discover what military life was like in the late 1890’s. Meet in the Wray Lane Car Park, Reigate, RH2 0HX. If you would like to bring some food or buy some in the Car Park café, we can picnic by the Fort after the tour.
