Guided walk and talk on a Community Eels Project on the River Mole

September 16, 2021 @ 11:00 - 12:30

A 90-minute walk and talk by someone from the South East Rivers Trust. They are working alongside partners on the Thames Catchment Community Eels project and will be doing lots of work along the River Mole and its tributaries to aid the long-term survival of the critically endangered European eel.  They will talk about the habitats present, the processes and of course eels and other fish and wildlife. The walk will be along the River Mole in Norbury Park. This is a lovely opportunity to learn more about our local river and the wildlife that lives in it.

More information on the project can be found here on the website:

Thames Catchment Community Eels Project

The meeting place will be advised nearer the time.
