Moths, Mammals and a Folly Good Time

August 13, 2019 @ 10:00 - 14:00

A walk from Juniper Hall Field Studies Centre led by their staff.  We will open up some small mammal traps and look at the moth trap from the previous night and also look under reptile refuges on site.  We will then be shown how FSC work with biodiversity at the centre (looking at blue butterfly scrapings, the butterfly garden, walled garden etc.).  After this we will climb up through Charlotte’s wood to Broadwood Tower and stop here or on Lodge Hill for a picnic and then loop back to Juniper Hall after lunch.

Meet at Juniper Hall Field Studies Centre, Old London Road, Mickleham, RH5 6DA. There will be a reasonable climb involved, so good footwear will be needed. Please bring your own picnic.
