Henry Barnard, NT Lead Ranger Central Surrey Hills, will lead us on a walk along the bottom of White Downs and part way up the slopes to see the summer wildlife. We will look of the site and Henry will explain the many layers of history and human interference in the landscape from the neolithic to modern day. He will also discuss plans for the site with the reintroduction of grazing after over a hundred years.

We will meet at Landbarn Farm, Hole Hill, Westcott, Surrey RH4 3LS. If there are too many cars then some people may need to park at Ashurst rough Car Park and be transported back to Landbarn Farm.
After the walk we will provide a light finger buffet picnic with soft drinks at Landbarn Farm. The cost for this event is £12 per head.
