It is a lovely time to visit Box Hill at present, the sun and rain have produced a beautiful array of flowers on the chalk grassland. This year has been amazing for Pyramidal Orchids, some of which are still looking good and there are lots of Small and Field Scabious, Marjoram, Harebells, Clustered Bellflowers, Burnet Saxifrage and many more! The top of the Burford Spur, Dukes and Lower Viewpoint are particularly flowery. On top of this, the Chalk Hill Blue Butterflies and Dark Green Fritillaries are starting to fly.
